With nearly 30 years of expertise, OMI is the world leader in manufacturing natural odor eliminating solutions for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.We are looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team!Job Description for Staff Accountant: The Staff Accountant will work in collaboration with Finance team members to support the business through projected sales growth. This individual will be responsible for performing day-to-day general accounting transactions and preparing timely and accurate reports. This individual will also be responsible for working in conjunction with cross functional teams to meet the growing demand of our customers and internal parties. The Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and will work cross-functionally with OMI's Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Finance Assistant. Responsibilities of Staff Accountant include but are not limited to:

• Performing general accounting functions as it pertains to OMI's eCommerce business.
• Reconciling Amazon settlement payments and deposits.
• Review of any invoiced sales that are not integrated in the ERP system.
• Managing and filing sales tax returns using Avalara (Sales Tax System).
• Working with finance and operations team members to perform inventory analysis.
• Calculating sales margins/costs (inventory turnover, inventory received not billed, inventory in transit, and vendor-managed inventory)
• Performs ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Assisting departments with automation processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.Work Environment:The individual in this role will work in a hybrid model. The job can primarily be performed at home but will require a minimum of 3 days/week in the office. Salary, ExemptFull-timeRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Advanced MS Office skills; proficient in Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting functions pertaining to eCommerce is considered a plus.
  • Ability to create reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to develop positive and effective relationships with co-workers, partners, and customers.
  • Strong aptitude to identify and improve business processes.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written, listening).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
