This position will be hybrid - work from home with some in office requirements. This position is available immediately! The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the billing, collections, and reimbursement cycle for the organization. This leadership role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and cash collections. This individual will leverage their strategic experience and extensive knowledge of RCM best practices, as well as a deep understanding of federal and state payer requirements to maintain a strong cash stance for the company. Essential Job Responsibilities - Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including intake eligibility verification, authorization, billing, posting payments, claims follow-up, denials management, and collections. - Develop and implement policies and procedures that optimize billing workflows and reduce claim denials and rework. - Ensure compliance with payer requirements, including Medicaid and managed Medicaid plans, and stay current with regulatory updates and changes. - Analyze KPIs; prepare regular reports on cash collections, denials and outstanding A/R for executive leadership. - Partner with clinical and administrative departments to ensure documentation supports billing and compliance requirements. - Manage relationships with clearinghouses, payers, and third-party vendors as needed. - Lead internal audits to ensure data integrity and adherence to funder guidelines. - Supervise and maintain accountability for all staff within the RCM department. - Maintain and enforce a documented system of RCM policies and procedures. - Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. - Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. - All other duties as assigned.
