Job Description Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist for a Mount Pleasant, WI area organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting project-related invoicing. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and issue accurate billing statements for projects and services. • Maintain and update billing systems to ensure timely invoicing and record-keeping. • Verify and reconcile billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate billing schedules and address any discrepancies. • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. • Generate financial reports related to billing and revenue. • Assist with the implementation or updates of billing software as required. • Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and resolve any billing concerns. • Support the finance team with other administrative tasks as needed. • Proven experience in billing or financial administration, preferably within the construction industry. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with billing systems and software. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong communication skills for coordinating with teams and addressing client inquiries. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Experience in project coordination is a plus. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is preferred.
