Fund Formation Compensation: $365,000 About the Role: Direct
Counsel is partnering with an Am Law 100 firm to find a highly
skilled Tax Associate Attorney with experience in fund formation .
This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized tax practice
and work with sophisticated venture capital and private equity fund
sponsors and investors. Key Responsibilities: Advise fund sponsors
and investors on investment fund formations , including venture and
private equity funds. Counsel clients on primary and secondary
investments , joint ventures, and related tax matters. Manage
multiple complex matters simultaneously while maintaining strong
client relationships. Collaborate with a high-performing team on
sophisticated transactions within a premier practice group. Ideal
Candidate: 5 years of tax experience focused on fund formation.
Strong background working with venture funds, private equity funds,
and institutional investors . Demonstrated ability to take
initiative, think strategically, and solve complex problems.
Excellent client management skills and the ability to succeed in a
fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials from a
nationally recognized law school. Compensation & Benefits: The
expected annual compensation for this role starts at $365,000 ,
with adjustments based on location, experience, and skillset. The
