Job Description Job Description We are growing, and in need of a Bookkeeper. Opportunity to move to full-time, current positions is 3 days/week ( 24 hrs per week) Flexible work hours! Tasks: - Track insurance carrier invoices for timeliness and accuracy - Coordinate and deposits and report financial results on a regular basis - Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts - Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances - Accounts Receivable collections including tracking of Notices of Cancellation - Report payroll to payroll service, ensure accuracy, arrange for appropriate bank transfers and enter data in accounting software - Monitor billing for accuracy - Issue agency statements Skills: - Degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Knowledge generally accepted accounting principles - Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and especially Excel - Proficient in the use of agency management software a plus - Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Company Description Commercial Insurance Wholesale Broker/Program Manager specializing in transportation Company Description Commercial Insurance Wholesale Broker/Program Manager specializing in transportation
