Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available
for the upcoming school year, based in Waukegan, IL. This
full-time, contract position serves K-12 students with a focus on
elementary caseloads across 1-2 sites plus one home base. The role
offers a supportive environment with a manageable caseload of 35-40
students and a schedule aligned with the school calendar (August 4
to May 19). Key qualifications and skills: Certification as an SLP
(Speech Language Pathologist), with CCC (Certificate of Clinical
Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status accepted
Experience or training in school-based settings preferred Bilingual
Spanish skills required for two positions; one monolingual position
also available New graduates pursuing CFY are encouraged, as
supervision will be provided Primary responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy for students
K-12, focusing on elementary based caseloads Collaborating with
educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) Documenting progress reports
and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
Participating in orientation and ongoing professional development
sessions Location: Waukegan, IL, serving local public schools
