(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

Language Interpreter to support communication accessibility in a
school environment. This position is based in Crete, NE, and
involves travel between educational sites, providing interpreting
services that facilitate effective communication for deaf and
hard-of-hearing students and staff. Responsibilities include:
Interpreting spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and
vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school
events. Collaborating closely with teachers, students, and
educational staff to ensure clear and accurate communication.
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while advocating
for equal access to information. Traveling as required to different
school locations to provide consistent and reliable interpreting
services. Desired qualifications or experience: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or relevant
credential preferred. Experience working in educational settings is
highly desirable. Strong understanding of Deaf culture and
communication needs. Ability to travel between schools as required.
