Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a respected leader in global
relief and development, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join
our Engineering & Maintenance department. In this role, you will be
pivotal in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of
our manufacturing processes and equipment. Your expertise will
contribute to MCCs mission of service by optimizing our
manufacturing capabilities, essential for producing supplies
critical to our humanitarian projects. This position requires a
blend of technical skills, hands-on experience, and a deep
commitment to sustainability and ethical engineering practices.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies and
reliability-centered maintenance plans. Conduct root cause analysis
for equipment failures and develop corrective actions. Collaborate
with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes are
efficient and reliable. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance equipment longevity and reduce downtime. Coordinate with
vendors and suppliers to ensure the highest quality of machinery
and parts. Prepare technical reports and documentation of
maintenance schedules and failures. Train maintenance staff on new
protocols and best practices in equipment handling. Strong
expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. Proficient in the
use of CAD software and data analysis tools. Ability to design and
assess reliability tests. Excellent communication and project
management skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified
Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred. Lean Six
Sigma Certification is a plus.
