Job Description Job Description Description: The Electrical
Engineer III will contribute to complex substation electrical
designs and calculations. You will help lead the delivery of
substation systems for our high voltage substation projects as you
coordinate with other disciplines. Salary Range: $100,000.00 -
$130,000.00 per year Duties/Responsibilities: Design to client and
regulatory requirements. The design and delivery of green and brown
field high voltage electrical substation project Develop and
maintain project documentation regarding protection and control
design and construction. Support the development of plans &
sections, details, control building layouts, P&C one line
diagram, station service AC/DC distribution diagram, bill of
material, cable schedule, etc. Help achieve quality, on schedule
and budgets. Help identify scope changes. Vendor drawing review and
disposition. Maintaining project files. Comply with project quality
plans and standards Data and document entry into various platforms.
Reporting safety, health and quality issues to management. Help
prepare contract amendments Assist management as directed. Maintain
self utilization as indicated by management Client interface
Participate in project walkdowns Manage self-quality Mentor team
members Required Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to
consistently produce high quality of work Ability to consistently
work independently Advanced presentation, written, verbal
communication skills Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
Familiar with discipline specific design software and design
management systems. Familiar with Grounding Calculations
Memberships and active participation in discipline specific
professional organizations such as IEEE. Familiarity with
applicable IEEE / EIC codes and standards. Understanding of CAD
software. Ability to estimate, plan, and schedule substation
projects Ability to support proposal activities Proficient in
Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation
and Revit. Education and Experience: Four year technical degree
from an ABET accredited institution. 5 years of substation design
engineering experience. Additional Requirements: Must be willing to
comply with all pre-employment screening, including but not limited
to, drug testing, reference verification, education and employment
verification, and background screening Must be legally authorized
to work in the U.S. Possess a valid Driver’s License Tuesday, core
