Position – Maintenance Technician Job Location –New Berlin, WI Starting Date – Immediate Employment Term – Direct Hire Employment Type – Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift Starting Pay – Based on Experience Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education – High School Diploma/GED Required Experience – 3 years industrial maintenance experience Job Summary As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with limited supervision to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant machinery and mechanical systems. You will perform intermediate-level diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and equipment adjustments to ensure efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing machines. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and experienced with CNC grinding equipment. Responsibilities Examine and diagnose machinery issues; dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment as needed. Replace defective components and make necessary adjustments for optimal machine performance. Perform preventive maintenance on coolant systems, mist collectors, and production machinery. Clean filters, replace elements, and maintain lubrication/oil levels. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and maintenance areas. Occasionally fabricate or modify replacement parts. Provide training or guidance to less experienced maintenance staff when required. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of preventive and predictive industrial maintenance experience. Strongly preferred: experience with CNC grinding equipment such as Walter, Ewag, Rollomatic, ANCA, Waida, etc. Ability to perform troubleshooting with minimal technical direction. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with supervisors and team members. Proficiency with basic hand tools and mechanical repair tasks.
