Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- Structure, manage, and facilitate the execution of BioLife
Marketing Transformation projects/programs
- Maintain project records in an electronic ePPM system, report
out on project progress, and maintain alignment with key project
stakeholders
- Lead through influence to embed BioLife Transformation
operating and project governance processes
- Identify, intake, and create business cases for new
projectsACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for delivery of strategic projects linked to
BioLife's Transformation
- Develop and implement a useful, well-organized structure for
the strategic projects
- Develop and implement operating mechanisms to manage the
project work, including communication plans, workshops, team
meetings, etc
- Identify, manage, and escalate project and program risks and
decisions; uncover and monitor interdependences with active
projects and programs elsewhere in the business
- Manage the lifecycle of projects to ensure a structured
approach to the work and avoid overloading resources
- Partner with internal functions as required to ensure complete
delivery of project scope, including Operations, IT, and
FinanceDIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
- Subject matter expert on project management
- Experience in portfolio managementLeadership
- Able to rapidly resolve conflicts while ensuring buy-in from
stakeholders
- Able to both detect and rapidly adapt to changes in the
business and operating environment
- Must be able to plan the critical path and hold team members
accountable for their activitiesDecision-making and Autonomy
- Drives consensus on a path forward when there are ambiguous or
conflicting viewpointsInteraction
- Engages internally with mid-level, and functional leaders
across functional groups, including Operations, Marketing, Market
Expansion, Supply Management, Quality, IT, Finance, BioLife
Centers, and Labs to establish a common plan and approach
- Perform stakeholder analysis to understand barriers to change;
manage and execute communication to all stakeholder
groupsInnovation
- Uses information technology and business processes to identify
complex, poorly defined problems and propose solutionsComplexity
- Must understand the cultural, regional, and regulatory
variation across the global footprint of Biolife to execute change
management activities.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND
SKILLS:
- Minimum of a four-year Bachelor's Degree, preferably in
Marketing or Life Sciences, business or engineering (or equivalent
experience). Master's Degree and/or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years Project Management experience
- Biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry experience, retail
experience, and marketing operations experience
desirable.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Core Competencies /Skills
- Must be able to tailor communications to deliver the same
content to vastly different audiences.
- Proven ability to make meaningful contributions with a minimum
of "spin up" time.
- Functions well under pressure in a changing environment. Uses
independent judgment to identify, plan, prioritize, and organize
diversified workload as required.
- Must be proficient in the application of MS Project. Must be
excellent with PowerPoint and able to both perform and consume
analysis with Excel. Experience with enterprise PPM software a
