Job Description:

Corporate Account Manager/PACKAGING MACHINERY. This person is responsible day-to-day business development activities. This position will report to the President and will be responsible for growing business levels and selling packaging and processing equipment solutions at the plant level, to targeted consumer packaged goods companies.

The successful candidate will be a motivating sales leader/advisor, have exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, passion for everything he/she contributes to the team and the ability to drive to identiy and close new integrated packaging and processing solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated professional who can inspire and communicate clearly, and lead daily cross-functional sales collaboration. The ideal candidate must have packaging and processing equipment sales and CRM management experience, along with demonstrated success in selling and closing business in a complex solution sales environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and strengthen business relationships with potential and existing customers for the purpose of promoting integrated packaging and processing solutions.

Build revenue with assigned accounts at both the corporate and plant levels, necessary to reach and exceed established sales goals.

Properly manage critical customer data and ensure optimization of the company?s CRM systems, which drive transparency, accountability and velocity throughout the business development cycle. This will include monitoring and measuring key metrics necessary to insure both activity and sales goals are being met.

Understand and master RFQ submittals, project management to ensure successful client outcomes.

Articulate the company?s value proposition, service portfolio, and solution strategies to prospects in order to position solutions and value.

Utilize a consultative and well prepared approach to driving conversations with the expectation of moving the prospective customer through the buying cycle and developing a formal and written sales solution for the purposes of closing business.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with economic buyers and key executives within assigned target accounts to create value and close business.

Establish and maintain contact and effective communication at all levels of target accounts. Leverage internal resources to ensure a positive customer experience.

Partner with internal executive management, operations, development and sales management teams to establish and implement best practices.

Forecast and track opportunities, specific product revenue, and new opportunities on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Ensure revenue growth to reach and exceed established sales goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

?BS/BA degree required.

Minimum of 10 years experience and success working with Fortune 1000 CPG accounts. Experience must reflect drive and self-motivation with a high level of detail, selling complex solution based programs.

Knowledge of procurement and capital budgeting process for packaging and processing MACHINERY in the CPG segment is required.

Knowledge and experience with CRM technology platforms a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including boardroom caliber presentation skills.

Aptitude for understanding how packaging and processing MACHINERY solutions solve customer business issues.

Astute enough to both listen and convey information clearly and provide technical/financial analysis to help expedite customer purchase decisions.

Proven ability to recognize value added opportunities.

Proven ability to develop and grow both C-Level relationships and management at the plant level, to increase the probability of success.

Proven ability to collaborate with others at all levels within the potential client.

Strong MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint acumen.

Ability to think critically, strategically and creatively.

Experience and desire to work in an exciting, cutting edge and fast-paced, environment.

Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales plans ? specifically selling reoccurring technical solution-based programs.
