Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Duration: 13 Shift: 3rd shift, 12-hour
nights, every other weekend, float as needed Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of one year of licensed registered nurse
experience preferred License: Current Registered Nurse License in
the state of Wisconsin or a multi-state nursing license from a
participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications:
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required within 90 days
of hire Must-Have: - Completion of education at an accredited
School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered
Nurse - Clinical competence in care and management of adult patient
populations specific to the area of employment - Experience with
CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps) Description: The
Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group
of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual
demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily
adult population. The Registered Nurse will float as needed and is
expected to work 12-hour shifts during the night. Candidates must
have professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired
through education. Those who are non-BSN nurses with less than one
year of experience will be required to enroll in a BSN or higher
nursing degree program upon hire. Acceptance into such a program
must occur within 15 months of hire and the degree must be
completed within 5 years, or 6 years if pursuing a MSN, DNP, or PhD
in Nursing.
