be considered. This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse
with operating room (OR) experience, specializing in acute care
settings. The role is based in Cicero, IL, offering a contract
opportunity with a reputable Level 1 Trauma Center hospital.
Location: Cicero, IL is a vibrant suburb known for its strong

of life. Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care in
the Operating Room, supporting a variety of surgical specialties
including orthopedics, vascular, urology, and general surgery.
Demonstrate strong skills in scrubbing and circulating during Level
1 trauma cases. Float within the facility as required to meet
patient care needs, ensuring flexibility and adaptability. Maintain
accurate charting using Cerner electronic medical records. Fulfill
night shift duties on a 4x10 schedule (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
Participate in minimal call requirementsone 10-hour shift monthly
on weekends with no weekday call. Commit to weekend coverage every
other weekend and adhere to strict time-off policies avoiding
holidays and adjacent days. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent acute care
experience in the OR. Proven expertise in Level 1 Trauma surgery
cases. Competence in orthopedic, orthopedic trauma, vascular,
urology, and general surgery procedures. Preferred additional
experience in neurosurgery, open heart/thoracic, ophthalmology,
ENT, bariatrics, and gynecology. BLS certification required.
Ability and willingness to float as part of a mandatory float team
within the facility. Locals within 75 miles preferred; pending
licenses are not accepted. Schedule & Hours: Night shift: 4 shifts
per week, 10 hours each (8:30 PM to 7:00 AM). Weekend rotation:
Every other weekend (2 weekends per month). Call: One 10-hour
weekend shift per month; no weekday calls. Additional Details:
Scrub color uniform will be navy blue and provided. Guaranteed 40
hours per week. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing
