Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Operations Specialty: Medical

Certifications: BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in
from experience) Must-Have: Neonatal experience, electrode
placement, prepping patient, recording/measuring, pattern
recognition, wrapping head for continuous EEG Description: The
facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation and
comprehensive Stroke Center. Patient types include neonates up to
geriatric individuals with conditions such as seizures, strokes,
gunshot victims, autism, ADHD, pseudo-seizures, and trauma. Patient
ratios are 1:1. Support on the unit includes other EEG techs and
RRT/Code Team. The charting system used is Epic, with experience in
Nihon Kohden software required. Travelers applying should have a
minimum of 2 years of experience and first-time travelers are
accepted. Floating may occur only to the ICU for performing tests.
Scheduling requires weekend rotation, with work on holidays if it
falls on the scheduled workday. Scrub color required is Caribbean
