Speech Language Pathologist Location: South Bend, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have state license by start date Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, Vital stim, MBSImP Must-Have: Must have license in hand by start date. CANNOT accept temp licensure. Description: Position/Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist. Start date: ASAP. Shift: 5x8 (08:00 - 16:30). Call Requirements: On Sundays, 4 hours of call ONLY for weekends scheduled to work. Weekend Requirements: Every other Saturday 8 hours, on call Sunday 4 hours, flexible off 8 hours the week before and however many hours worked Sunday (if called in) the week after. To be scheduled in advance with management. Floating Requirements: Will float between inpatient rehabilitation and acute care. Holiday Requirements: Holiday pickup is optional at time and a half. Charting: Cerner. Skills Required: Degenerative Diseases, Fluency, Hearing Impairments, Laryngectomy, Mental, Behavioral, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Nervous System Disorders, Sign Language, Voice, Compensatory Strategies, Hyolaryngeal Exercises, Oral Motor, Acute Care, Adult Rehabilitation Facility, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Dysarthria, Dysphagia, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), Tracheostomy, Ventilator Dependent/Assisted, Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, Frazier Free Water Protocol, International Dysphagia Diet, Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, Modifying Diet Orders, Passy Muir Valves, Thickening Agents, Trach/Vent, BIMS (Brief Interview for Mental Status). Note: Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census. Important professionalism standards will be upheld due to increased professional conduct concerns. All travelers must understand that any conduct issues may result in immediate contract termination.
