Job Description Certification Details - BLS - Wisconsin
Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License (Nurse
Licensure Compact) Job Details - Plays a major role in the
interdisciplinary care team's successful adoption of the electronic
medical record. - Knowledgeable about clinical workflows and the
role technology plays in those workflows. - Utilizes change
management principles to facilitate adoption of new clinical
workflows brought about by technology updates. - Coordinates or
provides expertise in planning, design, development, training,
implementation, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of new
or existing functionality related to clinical and business
information systems in collaboration with IT and clinical
operations. - Integrates nursing/clinical science, computer
science, informational science to manage and communicate data,
information, knowledge and expertise in clinical practice. - Works
as a liaison among stakeholders to ensure engagement and elicit,
analyze, prioritize and validate workflows and requirements for
changes in processes, policies, and information systems. - Ensures
data/information is current with regulatory agency and best
practice standards. - Coordinates the collection and reporting of
metrics defining benefits realization associated with the clinical
information systems. - Serves as an internal consultant to all
departments to identify and achieve department and project goals.
Job Requirements - Experience in change management, and adoption
and engagement strategies of key stakeholders/operational leaders
for a high impact change. - Experience in operational workflow
development and operational translation across departments and
facilities. - Experience in test environment setup and iterative
refinement with stakeholder input. - Experience in knowledge
transfer and coaching of internal team members to ensure long-term
sustainability. - Experience in strategic guidance on governance
models and change management during implementation. - Two (2) years
of nursing clinical experience OR Two (2) years of clinical
informatics experience. - Demonstrated competency and knowledge as
acquired by participation in multi-disciplinary implementation
projects with a clinical scope. - Expertise with statistical
analysis and interpretation of data. - Strategic problem solving,
organization, and superior planning skills. - Excellent verbal and
written skills for high-level communication. - Ability to manage
and coordinate implementation, design and maintenance of clinical
information systems used to improve clinical operations for a
service line or group. - Preferred: Experience with Rauland or a
Rauland implementation with Epic. - Preferred: Three (3) or more
years of Nursing Informatics experience. - Required Education:
Associate's degree in Nursing. - Preferred Education: Bachelor's
degree in Nursing. - Required Certifications & Licensure: Current
state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License OR Multi-state Nursing
License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure
Compact.
