Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,260 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Medical Group Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Spine - Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of strong neuro-spine background or 2-4 years of strong clinic experience willing to learn neuro-spine. License: ADN required; BSN preferred. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Must have EPIC experience. Description: This position is primarily a background role where the nurse will not need to be in the room most of the time. The nurse will manage 10-20 patients during a clinic day. Experience in neuro-spine or strong clinic background is required. First-time travelers are welcome if they are well qualified. Patient types include pre and post-op neuro spine surgery patients, no stroke cases. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure. Responsibilities include clinic preparation, coordination of care from outpatient to inpatient and back to outpatient for follow-up. Tasks involve placing orders, nurse triage (including e-messaging), placing referrals, providing patient education, medication reconciliation, and verifying surgery clearance with other specialties. Coordination with other clinics for surgery clearance is also essential. Support will be provided by other medical staff including nurses and receptionists on site. This role does not involve floating to other units. There are no weekend rotations, on-call duties, or holiday shifts required for this position. All requests for time off must be approved by the manager or provider prior to the start of the position. Preferred attire includes solid color scrubs or business casual.
