Radiation Therapist Location: Rockford, IL Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $2,650 to $2,850 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/31/2026 About the Position Job Summary: The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians. This role involves operating advanced radiation equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting oncology care in a high-volume clinical setting. Job Description: Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions Operate and manage radiation therapy equipment including linear accelerators Monitor patients during treatment and ensure safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate treatment records using oncology information systems Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and care teams Manage high patient volume and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of equipment Requirements Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist Experience working in mid to large hospital settings Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators Experience with ARIA record and verify system (v18.1 preferred) Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients Strong attention to detail and patient care skills Benefits Benefits and Compensation: Competitive travel pay package Weekly guaranteed hours Overtime applicable after 40 hours per week and as per policy Opportunity for contract extension based on performance
