This is a highly visible role with the possibility of an accelerated growth track We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist with at least 3 years of experience that has the ability to juggle tasks and manage changing priorities. Your goals include a willingness to contribute, an opportunity for growth, and a boldness to look beyond the job to improve the company. The position includes compensation and benefits, employee and employer relations, payroll, recruiting, process and procedure development with HR functions to name a few. Position is 5 days a week in office with occasional flexibility to WFH. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Requirements: 3 years Human Resources Experience supporting at least 100 employees SHRM certifications are a plus BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field preferred Ability to travel to HQ for 1 week training and then 1-2 times a year for other training or special events CFSJULY2022 Company Description CFS is a leading, employee-owned staffing firm---the largest one founded by CPA firms.
