Job Description:

Genesis10 is seeking an .NET Software Engineer. This is a 6 to 12-month contract role is with a manufacturing company. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using .NET (C#) and related technologies Contribute to the architecture and development of scalable microservices, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability Actively participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and consistent software delivery Embrace DevOps culture, collaborating closely with operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence of applications. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver user-centric solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering and cloud computing Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 3 years of experience in software development with C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 5 strongly preferred) Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Experience with ASP.NET Core, gRPC, or other modern .NET technologies Familiarity with test automation frameworks and practices (e.g., TDD, BDD). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
