Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Director of Procurement to join our client in Bartlett, IL. This direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. The Director of Procurement will be responsible for leading and optimizing department operations, negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts, and collaborate to align procurement activities with organizational goals. This role requires proven leadership skills, advanced critical thinking skills, and previous food purchasing experience. Responsibilities: · Lead and optimize department operations · Assist with ongoing process and ERP technology innovations · Lead supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluations and long-term partnerships · Identify and select suppliers based on cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability · Ensure suppliers adhere to ethical and sustainability standards · Negotiate mutually beneficial contracts and terms with suppliers · Stay up-to-date with industry trends and conduct market research · Analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts · Work with internal stakeholders and external customers to align procurement activities with organizational goals Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred · Food purchasing experience required · Proven leadership skills · Advanced critical thinking skills · Experience working in a fast-paced environment Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, long-term disability insurance, Health Savings Account, 401(k) with matching, wellness program, and 3 weeks paid time off.
