Description:This position is for a Welder/Fabricator in Hollow Metal Door Modification. Candidates will be reading a print or blueprint, drilling holes, cutting material and then welding with MIG welders to finish to customer specification.The positions are interchangeable (i.e. Welders spend 75% of their time welding door frames together and 25% grinding down the edges. The Grinder would spend 75% of his/her time grinding down the edges and 25% welding. Eventually, they'll all be doing about 50/50. Demand currently calls for the 75/25 ratio). Job Requirements:- 2 or more years of experience with MIG Welding and fabricating - Working with thin material, between 14 to 16 gauge steel- Grind and polish edges until they are flush to the frame (Two workers per frame at a time)- Perform spot welds as neededAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
