Location: Carol Stream, ILDescription: The Judge Group is searching for a Production Engineer in Carol Stream. We're looking for someone who can prepare, program, monitor and evaluate parts, equipment, and automation control machinery to coordinate and implement process improvements. This job will have the following responsibilities: * Oversee equipment designs and processes* Analyze lead times and cycle times * Analyze equipment layouts to optimize production efficiency* Assist with training of maintenance, engineering and production staff* Read design sketches and blueprints of machinery and layouts* Comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standardsQualifications & Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering* Minimum of 1-2 years in manufacturing engineering* Experience with PLC including Mitsubushi, Allen Bradley and Omron* Experience with robotics/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. desiredContact: spsmith@judge.comThis job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
