Job Description A well established and growing national packaging manufacturer in the west suburbs is currently looking to expand it---s packaging & quality staff. This position will be focused on preparing the finished product for shipment. This will consist of visually inspecting and packaging the finished product. Training will be provided on a variety of equipment including but not limited to the packaging equipment and measuring tools. This is a full-time, permanent position which offers a comprehensive benefits package once the probationary period has been completed. The shift is comprised of four, ten-hour days, so the associate has Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every week.The work environment is extremely clean and follows sanitary regulations because the packaging product is used within the food industry. This is a 2nd shift position with a starting pay rate of $16.00 per hour . S hift times are: Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Responsibilities: - packaging products - visual inspecting products - preparing boxes and labels - palletizing product Job Requirements: Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of steady work history within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. The physical requirements for this position include the following: > Regularly lift 25 lbs. > Standing and walking for up to 4 hours at a time. Interviews to be scheduled immediately.
