Job Summary : Position Summary: Responsible for building control panels and electrical wiring custom automated equipment and systems for foodservice industry using engineering principles as they apply to mechanical and electro-mechanical design. Job Duties : Essential Role & Responsibilities -- Build control panels based upon schematics -- Point to point wiring of panels boards -- Component mounting onto panel boards -- Inspection and testing of assembled panels -- Create documentation related to equipment and panel wiring and layout -- Conducts machine checkout, debug and startup -- Maintain all equipment and tools necessary to perform daily tasks Essential Skills & Role Qualifications -- Proficient in reading electrical and control schematics -- Understands electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control station layouts, electrical enclosure panel layouts, Bills of Material and all electrical control hardware related documentation. -- Auto-CAD or drawing experience is a plus -- Proficient knowledge on the proper use of hand tools and small power tools -- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines -- Attention to detail -- Solid electrical and mechanical ability Qualifications : Essential Education & Experience -- High school or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred. -- Completion of electrical training or on-the-job experience in the electrical field -- 3-5 years of prior experience working as an Industrial Electrician, Control Panel Technician/Builder, Automation Technician, etc. -- 3-5 years of experience wiring automation equipment and panels, panel building, and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred -- Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical schematic documents Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information
