team is seeking an energetic individual to drive the success of our
Flatbed printing solutions. This role is crucial in engaging with a
multi-channel sales team and customers to identify and overcome
sales roadblocks. By developing innovative programs and tools, you
will help streamline the sales process and enhance customer
satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in
communicating market requirements to Manufacturing and R&D,
ensuring our products meet and exceed market demands. Your
contributions will be vital to our continued growth and success in
the industry.Your ImpactThe Product Planning Specialist is
accountable for developing new product introduction plans in order
to ensure an effective launch in the market place. He/she works
closely with the Product Planning Manager in the development of an
overall positioning strategy, in order to ensure the effective
design and communication of product image and value so that
targeted customers positively distinguish it from its competitors.
Responsible for coordinating and collaborating on the development
of product brochures, sales tools, presentations and spreadsheets.
Accountable for researching, analyzing and reporting on consumer
needs, demands, and preferences in order to contribute to the
design, development, and market introduction of new products.
Through the review of industry publications, as well as contacts
with dealers and sales staff, the incumbent keeps abreast of
competitive activity and product positioning in order to determine
which product features/aspects customer prefers. He/she may also
conduct customer surveys to identify consumer needs and demands as
they relate to and summarizes findings for the production design
and engineering divisions, in order to provide input regarding the
design or modification of future and existing products. He/she also
functions as a liaison between the production and sales staff, in
order to ensure timely communication of technology trends,
identifies industry leaders and resolution of product related
issues and concerns. About You: The Skills & Expertise You
BringBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience. Previous
experience in marketing and/or product planning of large format
flatbed or hybrid printers and software solutions is required. A
deep technical understanding of the differences between resin,
solvent, and UV print technologies is essential. The candidate
should be analytical and possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills, including a strong proficiency in Microsoft
Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Additionally, the candidate should be
comfortable presenting in front of groups and must be flexible to
travel.
We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role:
