Job Description $1,000 Sign-On Bonus: $500 at 30 days of employment; $500 after 6 months of employment ON-CALL BONUS: $150 PER WEEK The Greenway at Carol Stream apartments is looking for a Maintenance Technician like you to ensure the efficient operations, safety, and maintenance of our 325-unit multi-family community. Guided by our core values of respect, integrity, innovation and dedication, the Maintenance Technician will work directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community beautiful and well-maintained in order to realize our mission to deliver superior service. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. We will rely on you to be a key member of the maintenance team to anticipate, identify, and correct all problems throughout the property. To thrive in this role you must use your previous experience in a high volume maintenance role to cultivate exceptional resident satisfaction by being prompt, courteous, and efficient. Servicing our community involves a few key functions, including, but not limited to, the completion of apartment turns, general plumbing, electrical, and maintenance work, and daily huddles to keep work moving and the team on track. You will actively participate in completing service requests utilizing our paperless system, handle pool and grounds care, and assist in snow removal when required. A high level of competency and communication with all staff, residents and professional associates is a must. HVAC certification and CPO License preferred or willing to obtain. Minimum of 1-3 years--- experience in high volume maintenance position. We will teach you everything else you need to know The Company offers a competitive hourly rate of $21 - $22 based on experience, a quarterly bonus program, apartment discount and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO, accident and critical illness, short- and long-term disability, and more Must be available for Monday-Friday plus weekend hours and an on-call schedule.
