Job DescriptionForging Material Handler Job Summary Avimoe in Carol Stream is looking for a Forging Material Handler. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of quality parts by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the production facility as well as assisting in the proper disposal of waste product. Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklifts equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or similar location
• Manually handle parts and supply production lines at a fast pace
• Coordinate with Supervisor on steel shortages for changeovers
• Keep an organized department and maintains 5S
• Use scale and accurately fills out production records
• Other misc. duties deemed necessary by supervisor
• Wear all PPE and follows rules and procedures
• Obey all Forklift traffic signs and rules Skills and Abilities
  • Forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to safely work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to details
  • Knowledge of safety practices
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication Education
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required Benefits
